But you have not refuted any of the statements made by those opposing it. Imam Rauf did address an audience in malaysia and middle east and did sing a different song than what he uses for his american english speaking audience. He claimed he would use the holy ground of mosque zero to recruit more people in to islam. Does that not sound political motive. Why does the cultural center have a mosque on the thirteenth floor ? it is more symbolic than being on the ground. Regarding the already existing mosques, it is due to american tolerance, they have not asked to destroy already existing mosques. and there is a difference between building a mosque as a sign of conquest than allowing a mosuq to remain. so your logic is distorted here. Why does Imam Rauf not declare Hamas as terrorist organisation? If the majority of the americans dont want a mosque looking over the ground zero site,what is stopping him from shifting the location? Robert spencer and Pamella Geller are necessary in a democracy to show the other side of the issue.
